The T-34 Technical Committee's Report No. 071102, Part 1, Rev IR, dated July 11, 2002 contains two methods (Fluorescent Penetrant and Eddy Current) for inspection of the rear spar bathtub fitting. Only Method I (Fluorescent Penetrant) has been approved for use in accordance with SAIB No. CE-02-38R1, August 8, 2002.
